It’s going to be cold over the next few days.
Environment Canada has put an Extreme Cold Warning into effect due to the cooler temperatures expected starting tonight.
It says temperatures will drop below minus 20 tonight and then close to minus 30 on Friday and Saturday night. Coupled with the wind, Environment Canada says we could see wind chill values in the minus 35 to 40 degree range.
Environment Canada says the extreme cold should let up on Sunday morning. It says the cold puts everyone at risk and people should take precautions if they are headed outdoors.
