The Leader of the Official Opposition for the Government of Canada will be visiting the area later this month.
MP Andrew Sheer will stop in at the Brockville Convention Centre from 11:00am to 12:30pm on Saturday, January 20th.
Sheer has been in the House of Commons since 2004 and was the Speaker of the House from 2011 to 2015. He was elected as Leader of the Official Opposition last spring.
MP Gord Brown will also be in attendance. Leeds-Grenville – Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes Conservative Association President Michael Barrett says the event is free to attend but they ask people to pre-register for it.
