Police will continue their investigation after a 12-year-old crashed into a snowbank.
According to Leeds County OPP, at approximately 4:00pm on January 6th their officers responded to the scene of a collision on Autumn Drive in Rideau Lakes Township. An investigation revealed the boy and his friend were out for a joyride in the vehicle when they left the road, hitting a snowbank.
Both youth were returned home and a diversion plan was put in place so the children could receive extra support from local youth services.
