Safe Snowmobile Week is on and with another warm weekend ahead, the OPP is reminding all sledders to ride safe.
Temperatures throughout Leeds & Grenville are expected to reach well above zero all weekend and with the potential for rain Saturday, dangerous riding conditions may present themselves.
While the OPP’s checklist for safe riding includes certified safety equipment, valid drivers licenses and all the appropriate ownership/trail documents; they are also calling for riders to be aware of conditions on OFSC trails and especially when near bodies of water.
