An OPP officer has been charged following a domestic incident.
According to the OPP’s Grenville Detachment on January 20th they responded to reports of a domestic disturbance involving an off-duty OPP officer. Following an investigation the 44-year-old man has been charged with assault, mischief, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and two counts of assault with a weapon.
The 13-year veteran of the force has been placed on administrative duties and appeared in court last Friday.
