Its students versus police at the Leo Boivin Community Centre this week.
On Wednesday the Grenville County OPP are facing off against South Grenville District High School students for a charity hockey game. The game is raising money for the Upper Canada District School Board’s ‘Champions for Kids’ charity, which funds sports and music activities for children that can’t afford them.
Each OPP officer is contributing $10 to the charity and the public is welcome to attend. There is no entry fee but a donation to Champions for Kids is appreciated. Puck drop will be at 12:30pm.
