Brockville General Hospital is thanking the Upper Canada Family Health Team for their continuing tradition of dressing casually.
Health team members have been taking advantage of casual Friday since 2013 and BGH has been benefiting every step of the way. Staff members who make a two dollar donation can dress in their casual clothing on Fridays and this year they raised almost $3,000. According to BGH around two thirds of the money went to the Palliative Care Service and the rest has been designated for the Cardiovascular Program.
BGH staffers say since the program was started in 2013 they have received over $11,000 from the Upper Canada Family Health Team.
