Brockville General Hospital is looking for residents to sit on their Board of Directors.
Chair of the Board Jim Cooper says they have two to three positions open and they’ve got a particular set of skills in mind.
According to Cooper they did a skills assessment of the current board and found they could strengthen those areas. He says they’re also hoping to find a board member from the Town of Prescott.
Cooper says the Board is responsible for overseeing the running of the hospital by advising the CEO and Chief of Staff. He adds that board members must also take a place on one of the hospital’s three standing committees.
The board is made up of nine to 13 members, serving three year terms to a maximum of nine years. Interested applicants can contact Board Coordinator Patty Dimopoulos at 613-345-5649 extension 1103. The deadline to apply is May 11th at noon and application forms can be found here.
