The Brockville General Hospital received a donation from the Hudson Burnbrae Foundation. The donation of $1,500 was presented last week by members of the foundation. The funds are going towards the Cardiovascular Program. Hospital foundation director Joan Simon says the program relies on donations.
The program needs $181,000 annually to keep running. Over 600 people have graduated from the Cardiovascular Program to date. Simon says the program keeps care close to home.Â
The Hudson Burnbrae Foundation is located in Brockville and focuses on donating locally. The foundation contributes to scholarships, food banks and places of worship. For more information about the program, click here.Â
