The Grenville Community Futures Development Corporation (GCFDC) launched a new brand and logo. The announcement was made at the organization’s Annual General Meeting on Friday. The GCFDC reported on results from the last fiscal year, including business financing, counselling and grant programs. Executive Director Heather Lawless says the GCFDC helps businesses through different stages.
The organization loaned over $1.4 million to businesses in Grenville County last year. Since 1990, the GCFDC has loaned over $25 million to 600 businesses, impacting 3,000 local jobs. Lawless says the organization also delivers Eastern Ontario Development Program funding.
The organization provides counselling to entrepreneurs in Grenville County even if they are not clients. The GCFDC held over 300 counselling sessions for 200 new and existing businesses last year. For more information about GCFDC, click here.Â
