July 31st is the deadline for the first installment of final tax bill payments in Prescott.
Nancy Lavallee is the Taxation and Revenue Clerk for the Town of Prescott and says if someone does not make the payment deadline, as of August 1st there will be a penalty of 1.25%. The second installment is due August 31st, and again, a penalty will be applied if the payment is missed.
The Town of Prescott says the tax bills can be paid in person at Town Hall by visiting the first floor.
