The Chesterville & District Agricultural Society is getting ready for the annual Chesterville Fair. The event kicks off Friday at 4:00pm. This year will feature an inflatable midway. President Carol Johnson says the fair board has implemented a pay one price admission fee. The cost is $15 per person and kids five and under are free.
Friday night will be the truck pull, followed by the demolition derby on Saturday. Live entertainment will be provided by Bordertowne Boys on Friday and Eddy & the Stingrays on Saturday. The tractor pull is set for Sunday.
Johnson says the Ontario Demolition Derby is running the derby again this year. The organization has asked to host their year-end event in Chesterville in October.
The Chesterville Fair is held at 153 Queen Street, just off County Road 43. For more details, click here.
