The Jasmine’s Cheerleaders event at South Grenville District High School raised $873 for Jasmine Saunders.
Saunders is currently in the hospital after an ATV crash last Friday. Christine Tremblay-Sloan is one of Saunders’ former teachers at the high school. Tremblay-Sloan says well over 100 people signed posters to the 17 year-old. She wanted to help the family with expenses right now like gas and hotel and also have money to help Saunders’ herself.
Tremblay-Sloan will be bringing the posters and money to Saunders’ family today.
Jasmine’s Cheerleaders raised the money on Tuesday and Wednesday. The event ran two hours each day.
