Ryan’s Well Foundation founder Ryan Hreljac is in Sweden. Hreljac is a keynote speaker at World Water Week, which is being held in Stockholm. He delivered a presentation yesterday. Hreljac says he talked about practical ways young people can have an impact.
The Ryan’s Well Foundation, based out of Kemptville, is currently working on two big water projects in Uganda and Burkina Faso. The organization is also doing smaller projects in Mexico and Ethiopia.
Hreljac says the projects aren’t always wells because sometimes it makes more sense to build a rain harvesting tank or protected stream.
