The Town of Prescott is offering not-for-profits in the area a financial boost.
The town is offering grants for non-profit organizations that rely on donations and memberships and faced a dramatic decline in Revenue. The grant may go towards fixed costs like rent, utilities, equipment leases and insurance. To be eligible, groups must be registered as a charity, government by a volunteer board or committee of 5 or more members, and hold annual general meetings among other things. The Town also says that the group must provide services to town residents and has a location within Prescott.
Applications can be found here. The deadline to submit is Tuesday, December 8th.
