The budget is the big-ticket item as Prescott Town Council gets set to meet on Monday night.
A staff report to council as part of their agenda package recommends council approve a 2025 operational budget of just over $12 million.
Council will also address how the operational budget aligns with its strategic plan.
Council could decide to modify or decline the recommendation from Matthew Armstrong, Chief Administrative Officer & Treasurer.
Mayor Gauri Shankar recently said the town’s budget should be finalized at their March 17 meeting, with a target increase year-over-year of 3.5 per cent.
