The opening of a brand new hotel in Prescott is being called a “game changer.”
Prescott Economic Development Officer Dana Valentyne says the 69-room Quality Inn, officially opening this weekend, has been on the town’s priority list for many years.
She says there was a real gap for many years when it comes to attraction providers in Prescott and they were never able to accommodate larger events in the past.
She tells Moose FM the new hotel, which also features an indoor heated pool, will have a great economic impact on the entire area.
“It’s going to serve as a big investment attraction piece for our future work when it comes to bringing new businesses into the community and attracting more events in the future.”
The hotel is hosting an open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, where the public is invited to come tour and learn more about what it has to offer.
