You’ll have a new place to head to in Prescott when the weather warms up.
Prescott municipal officials say they are excited that their brand-new waterfront patio, located at the base of Centre Street, is almost ready.
It was built by operations staff as part of the My Main Street Community Activator Program and is designed to enhance the experience along the St. Lawrence River.
The My Main Street program supports high-impact placemaking projects that seek to revitalize neighborhoods and reimagine public spaces including main streets, downtown strips and plazas as vibrant and inclusive places that work for everyone.
Once complete, officials say the patio will offer comfortable seating and viewfinders to help take in the sights.
