You’ll soon have a place to get rid of your yard waste.
Prescott’s Municipal Yard Waste Facility on Sophia Street is scheduled to open for the season on Tuesday.
It will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the same hours on Thursday, and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Residents can bring items including grass clippings, leaves, small branches, plant remains, sod, wood chippings, and brush.
You’re asked to make sure all materials comply with the guidelines for a smooth drop-off experience.
If you are a contractor or local business and need access to our facility, a facility pass is required.
