You’re being invited to check out your own backyard this summer.
For the second year in a row, the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville is releasing a new promotional brochure and marketing campaign that’s highlighted by a map of local sites to check out.
There are close to 70 different sites to check out in the 1000 Islands Rideau Canal Waterways, up from 40 last year, and they are broken down into different categories.
Also new this year is a Bottle and Barrel category.
United Counties of Leeds and Grenville Economic Development Officer Cyndy Bolton tells Moose FM that it’s more important than ever to support businesses at home.
“We are all ambassadors for this region, the more we share our positive experiences in the region it’s an opportunity to reinvest.”
