Six local festivals are getting a funding boost to the tune of $190,000 from the province.
Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MPP Steve Clark says the money is coming from the 2025 Experience Ontario program.
Among the festivals that are benefiting is the South Grenville Bluegrass Festival in Spencerville, which was awarded $20,000.
The festival is scheduled for Aug. 7-10.
The local grants are part of a nearly $20 million investment in festivals and events across Ontario to help organizers expand programming.
