The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario says it has a plan to implement Ontario’s Renewed Math Strategy. At a board meeting held September 20th, presenters said it aligns with the province’s strategy to improve student achievement and teacher effectiveness in the area of mathematics. The plan has four goals including engaging students in math learning, improving student comfort and fluency in math, improve teacher assessment and educate parents as well as involve them.
