The Ben TeKamp Memorial Award could provide a new Leeds Grenville business with the the extra financial assistance needed to get off the ground. Nominations are currently being accepted for the award that provides up to $5,000 to the winner, with the development of a new business or recreation of an existing one. While the idea is to help businesses get off the ground, Employment and Education Centre Executive Director Susan Watts says that sometimes, it’s an existing business that needs help with re-inventing itself.
