The Spencerville Mill needs your help to plant tulips. The mill recently received 1,000 tulips to plant through the Canada 150th Celebration Garden sponsored by Via Rail, Vesey’s Gardens, and the Canadian Garden Council. Spencerville Mill Foundation Marketing Director Sandra Ketchum says part of the grant includes the requirement to hold a community bulb planting event. The planting event takes place this Friday and Saturday from noon to 4:00pm. Everyone is invited to come out and get involved. There will also be a celebration in the spring when the tulips flower.
