Brockville Police responded to a call over the weekend after a 31-year-old woman was described as being irrational and claiming she had become possessed by demons.
Police claim it was spirits of another kind that was causing the outburst, with the woman being released from custody once she became sober.
Brockville Police have said that exorcisms are not yet part of police training.
