Crime Prevention Week is taking place all across Ontario and Grenville County OPP wants to make sure residents are educated in ways to make their communities safer.
Community officer with the Prescott detachment of the OPP, Suzanne Runciman, says that this week is about preventing yourself from being victimized, just as much as it is about helping the community.
Runciman believes that citizens are the best crime spotters.
Crime Prevention Week runs until November 12th.
