EEC Helping Families Access Post-Secondary Education Funding

Studies have shown that about 8000 students in the Leeds and Grenville area are eligible to receive up to $2000 in post-secondary education funding through the Canada Learning Bond.
To help parents and students access this, the Education and Employment Centre in Prescott will be holding a special workshop on Tuesday, November 29th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
To be eligible, students must be born after January 1st, 2004 and care givers me be eligible for the National Child Benefit Supplement.
EEC Programs and Data Manager Michelle Carroll says that statistics show students with a registered education savings plan in place are more likely to attend post-secondary education.
