Brockville Police have been put on high alert after a number of residents have reported receiving scam emails.
Police say emails labelled “Traffic Infringement Notice” have circulated around town and the fraudulent emails are demanding money from the victims in payment for traffic offences.
 If you receive one of these emails, authorities say to not send any money, mark it as spam, and delete it.
