The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville 2016 Economic Development Summit goes this Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm in Kemptville. The event will be held at the Municipal Centre.
The Bill Thake Memorial Economic Development Leadership Award will be presented at the event. It recognizes and celebrates a volunteer who has shown outstanding commitment and leadership in terms of the Leeds Grenville economy. Nominees for the award are Joe Moulton from Edwardsburgh Cardinal and Robert Noseworthy from North Grenville.
There will also be updates on new developments within the county and a presentation on the Giant Tiger Distribution Centre currently being built in Johnstown.
