Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the following regions:
- Brockville – Prescott
- Gananoque – Mallorytown
- Merrickville-Wolford – Kemptville
- Westport – Charleston Lake
With 10cm having fallen in some areas already overnight, Environment Canada is calling for up to 25cm total by the end of the day. The warning is expected to persist through until tomorrow morning where snowfall will taper off into scattered flurries.
Winds will also be gusting anywhere from 50 to 70km/h causing blowing snow and reduced visibility. Environment Canada warns to adapt your driving habits accordingly.
