Brockville General Hospital is advising anyone who has received a tetanus shot from the hospital’s E-R to talk to their doctor and consider getting a booster dosage.
This comes after the hospital discovered the tetanus vaccines were stored at inconsistent temperatures.
Anyone who received a shot over the last 10 years is advised to contact their health care provider.
Hospital supervisor Kevin Empey has said that the hospital has implemented a new process to make sure the vaccines are stored at safe temperatures for the future.
