The Special Investigations Unit has been called in to investigate an incident that has left both a suspect and an officer injured.
On November 14th at 12:30am, officers from Grenville County OPP responded to a call on River Road near Kemptville. The incident was settled after a female had been arrested.
While being transported back to the detachment, an altercation took place between the suspect and the officer resulting in injuries for both.
No further information has been provided at this time.
