The Upper Canada District School Board wants to recognize “out of the box” thinking when it comes to its staff.
The Board of Trustees is accepting nominations for the 2017 Trustee Innovation Award. The award was created four years ago to honour employees who strive to find ways of doing things better for their students.
Employees, students and members of parent councils can submit nominations. There’s an award in each of five categories that cover the range of employees that work within the UCDSB.
While the hunt for nominees has already begun, it doesn’t wrap up until May 30th of next year. The award itself will be presented in September.
