Todd Lalonde has been elected as the new Board Chairman for the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario.
The trustee representing Cornwall and Glengarry County will start serving his first term immediately.
The role had previously been held for the past five terms by Brent Laton, trustee for Grenville County and the township of Elizabethtown Kitley.
Robin Reil, trustee for Brockville, Smiths Falls, and Leeds County was also elected for his first term as vice-chairman.
