The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville have selected a new Warden in an unconventional way.
The final vote was between Westport Mayor Robin Jones and Front of Younge Mayor Roger Haley. With the voting tied, council members decided to drawn a name, picking Robin Jones to become the new Warden.
Jones takes over for David Gordon who filled the position for the past two years. Gordon is currently the Mayor of North Grenville.
