The Town of Prescott officially appointed Matthew Armstrong as the town’s Treasurer last night at council.
Armstrong has been the Acting Treasurer since July 4th of this year.
Despite the new title, Armstrong says it’s business as usual.
The role was previously filled by Lorie Kirkby, who has since retired.
Armstrong says he is looking forward to working at expanding the town of Prescott and developing a plan for the next 10 years.
