Kemptville District Hospital has received an Exemplary Standing by Accreditation Canada in rare fashion.
Not only did K.D.H. get the highest standing for the second time in a row, but it did so by meeting 100% of the 1,666 criteria it was measured on.
The onsite accreditation survey by Accreditation Canada looks at the quality of care and services at the hospital, and took place from November 28th to December 1st.
VP of Corporate Affairs Lana LeClair says the staff, physicians, and board of directors have been busy for the past 18 months getting ready for accreditation.
K.D.H. also received Exemplary Standing in 2012.
