Leeds-Grenville MP Gord Brown is putting out a notice to employers in the county that there is still time to apply for Canada Summer Jobs funding.
The program is open to non-profit organizations, public sector employers, and businesses with 50 or less people.
There is $568,767 available to these employers to create summer jobs for students aged 15 to 30. Last year 249 jobs were created in Leeds and Grenville.
This year’s deadline has been moved up to Friday, January 20th to allow for quicker approvals, leaving more time for hiring’s.
