Although snow is still on the ground, preparations for the upcoming camping season are underway.
Applications are currently being accepted for Brockville’s 2017 seasonal island camping.
The season opens up June 2nd and runs until September 11th.
There are only 17 island campsites available, and will be randomly assigned through a lottery system with those who have submitted all of their paperwork and payments.
Applications can be picked up and dropped off at Brockville’s Operations Department. The deadline is Wednesday March 15th at 4:00pm. The lottery draw will take place March 21st.
