Weather Advisory In Place For Prescott And Area

A weather advisory has been put in place by Environment Canada for Prescott, Brockville, Gananoque, Mallorytown, Merrickville, Wolford,  Kemptville, Westport, and Charleston Lake.

Between 10 to 15 centimetres of snow is expected to fall by tonight, with winds up to 70 kilometres per hour causing blowing snow across the region.

Residents can also expect freezing rain to come down later tonight as the temperature rises.

Environment Canada warns for poor driving conditions, and recommends drivers give themselves extra time to travel or change their travel plans altogether.
