The town of Prescott may have just helped the next Ben Hutton find the sport they love.
On Saturday, the town held the Prescott Winter Cup Classic hockey tournament which was a fundraiser for the South Grenville Minor Hockey Association.
Through events, donations, and registration, the tournament raised $3300, which Councillor Leanne Burton says will help five kids register to play hockey next season.
This was the first year the event was held, with the town hoping to make it an annual tournament.
