An off-duty police officer proved to be an extra set of eyes for the Grenville County OPP as they caught a vehicle travelling 164 kilometres per hour.
The car was clocked at that speed in Augusta Township after the off-duty officer called in to alert OPP.
Police were able to pull over the silver Mazda after a speed trap. A 24-year-old Burlington man is now charged with speeding and has had his car and licence seized for seven days.
