Brockville General Hospital is getting an addition to their senior leadership team.
The hospital announced the hiring of their new Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, Julie Caffin. It’s expected Caffin will start in mid-February. Caffin comes from Kingston General Hospital where she was Director of Cardiac, Critical Care, and Emergency for 10 years.
The appointment came from hospital supervisor Kevin Empey, who has only been at the hospital himself since October, when he was appointed by the province to solve BGH’s financial and organizational problems.
Empey says he hopes to appoint a new CEO for Brockville General by late spring.
