Melissa Hillier is moving on from the United Way Leeds and Grenville.
The board announced the departure of their Executive Director on Monday. Hillier is moving to Seattle to join her husband who is pursuing a career in cancer research.
The board says it is taking the transition time to step back and look at the strengths and opportunities for growth to have an even greater impact on the most pressing social issues in the area.
The hiring committee for the new executive director is targeting a May 1st starting date.
