A final report on school closures in the Upper Canada District School Board is set to be presented to the board that made the original recommendations.
A public meeting will be held for staff to present their report on Wednesday, February 15th in Kemptville at North Grenville District High School at 6:30pm.
Since November, the UCDSB has been holding public meetings to let the community advocate on behalf of keeping their local schools. It is the presentations at these public meetings which staff are basing their report on.
Under the current pupil accommodation review plan, up to 29 schools across Eastern Ontario could close, including Maynard, Benson, and South Edwarsdburgh Public Schools..
