The 2016 Census results are in and Leeds and Grenville’s population has seen a 1.2% increase between 2011 and 2016.
According to Statistics Canada, this is below provincial and national averages, which show a 4.6% increase in Ontario, and a 5% increase across Canada.
This is part of the 2016 Census’ population results released earlier this week.
More results from the census will be released in the coming months.
