A total of $250,947 has been raised for Brockville General Hospital’s Palliative Care Services.
The money was raised during the 34th annual 30-hour palliative care telethon that took place in Brockville Saturday and Sunday.
This year’s total beat the previous record high by a few hundred dollars, and smashed last year’s total of $233,782.
The palliative care service receives no government funding and has an annual bill of $575,000.
