Prescott’s Business Retention and Expansion program is in full swing with businesses being booked for interviews into next month.
The program is currently seeking out opinions on what it is like to do business in Prescott.
BR+E Coordinator Jaqueline Shoemaker-Holmes says businesses appreciate being involved in the process, and that the BR+E has received positive feedback from the town’s employers.
Shoemaker-Holmes says a big struggle for businesses in Prescott is having a population density that matches the demands of businesses in town, a problem many other small towns face.
The BR+E program’s goal is to keep business here in town while also creating new jobs.
