The Ottawa Police Service was out patrolling school zones after the March Break.
Last week, police officers watched for speeding in school zones, failing to stop or yield for pedestrians at crossings, failing to obey crossing guards and school bus signs, as well as distracted driving.
Police say over 500 tickets were issued between March 20th and 24th.
The Ottawa Police Service reminds drivers to be alert, especially in school zones.
