Some members of the Prescott Fire Department were recognized for their years of service at Prescott Town Council.
On Monday night, Mayor Brett Todd and council honoured Firefighter/Driver George Prosser for 30 years of service, Captain Maurice Raas for 35 years of service, Fire Chief Barry Moorhouse for 20 years of service and Chief Fire Prevention Officer Brent Norton with 35 years of service.
Mayor Brett Todd later posted on Facebook saying it was a huge honour to recognize their service. Todd said it’s about the incredible dedication of the volunteer firefighters and employees that make the Prescott Fire Department what it is.
